Goldman Sachs focuses on disabilities

The investment company Goldman Sachs celebrates Disability Awareness Month each October in an effort to promote and support equal opportunities for people with disabilities. The company invited Sam Bailey to tell his story as part of this year's focus, with a talk at the Sydney office on October 17, also digitally connected to staff in Melbourne. Sam said he and Jenny were thrilled to be invited to be part of this great initiative. "It's terrific to see companies like Goldman Sachs being so active in the promotion of the abilities and successes of people with disabilities. Hopefully it helps break down barriers and open up more opportunities for people with physical or mental challenges, not just in workplaces but also in the community generally. Things have improved enormously in the 30-odd years I've been in a wheelchair and programs like this mean it will continue to improve."
