Stanthorpe fundraiser a big success
The annual Stanthorpe Chaplaincy Fundraising Dinner was held on Wednesday evening, September 12, at the Granite Belt Brewery, with huge success. Almost 100 peope attended and bidding in the fundraising auction was fast and furious, raising much needed funds to help fund Chaplains for schools in the area. Chaplains play a vital role in local schools, providing an independent person for students to go to for help; support, a lending hand or listening ear with personal issues. Sam and Jenny Bailey were thrilled to be part of the event. Next day Sam spoke to more than 700 students from both Stanthorpe and Warwick schools. (See schools photos).
Sam Bailey has seen plenty of ingenious stages but this one would have to be one of the best!!!
