Sam and Jenny Bailey's biography "Head Over Heels" (Buy a copy of "Head Over Heals") is one of 50 books selected for inclusion in the 2007 Australian Government supported Books Alive Great Read Guide. It was chosen from among 1200 nominated books by an independent panel of book industry experts from right around Australia.

The aim of selectors was to chose 50 remarkable books across a huge range of genres and styles: including biography, crime, fantasy, history, science, children's books and much more with a view to selecting books that are a guaranteed 'great read'. The selection panel said about "Head Over Heels", "There are many triumph-in-the-face-of-adversity stories, but this one is an absolute stand-out". As part of the government inititative, from July 25 to August 31, Sam and Jenny visited libraries and events in Casuarina and Palmerston, Darwin; Tamworth, Orange, Bathurst, Griffith, Wagga, Singleton, East Maitland, Nelson Bay, Cessnock and St Ives.
